FRESH! - fun to explore... and the little bird survived too!

  • Pedro says:
    Posted: 02.25.09

Bring back the little bird. Perhaps do some contextual little bird messages depending on the webpage you are at. Or limit the little bird to show up in certain pages. Miss you birdie.

  • Xande Macedo says:

One more thing. The legibility is overwhelming! Well done!

  • Larry says:
    Posted: 02.25.09

Pedro, check out the famicom. The little bird is still with us.

    Posted: 02.25.09

I love the pink. It's nice and clean. Somehow I feel it's lost something since the last version... that <je ne sais quoi>?

  • Chris Reynolds says:
    Posted: 02.25.09

Nice work, always of fan of what you guys are doing.

  • Fabio Gore says:

Be sure to check out the "05 Nice People" in our Being Here section. If you've played with us in the past, you may see your lovely face.

  • Barry says:
    Posted: 02.25.09

From past designs, this feels like a big leap in the "safe" direction. Pretty, great, well considered design. Just safe.

  • The other David Bliss says:
    Posted: 02.25.09

Very cool! Pretty in Pink is bold. Love the big type!

  • Ray Hernandez says:
    Posted: 02.25.09

  • Mark says:
    Posted: 02.26.09

Love the new site...clean, freash, funny and a real sense of who you are, how you do it and who you've worked with. Love it all, barring the fact that we were going to do a helmet cam type thing...and now we can't or we'll look lame :( Great work though, really love it.

  • James Cotton says:
    Posted: 02.26.09

Great work guys - loads of awesome content. Loving the 100% independent pie chart - LOL

  • Pedro Canhenha says:

  • Craig Elimeliah says:
    Posted: 02.26.09

Love teh overall design, the contact us page is a bit too Pepto Bismol for me, the pink is a bit overwhelming there but the general cleanliness and the organization is very nice.

  • Nathan Vincent says:
    Posted: 02.27.09

I don't like hardly any of the aesthetic details at all. Yuck pink, slightly messy dotted pattern and a simple looking menu. Not exactly industry leading stuff, eh? Don't get me wrong, I really dig you guys' work normally, but this new version of the site leaves me very underwhelmed. Sorry.

  • Espen Linna says:
    Posted: 02.27.09

Great job ! Nice to see you dared to move the borders :)

  • eric lauritzen says:
    Posted: 02.27.09

Smokin hot and tight as swedish jeans

  • Brian Brooks says:
    Posted: 02.27.09

I love how you kept it on a grid, perfect typography and super clean without being stale. Well played.

  • Liamr says:
    Posted: 02.27.09

Guys, I like it... but it doesn't have that 'holy f**k' reaction of the last site (which by the way you should totally release the source code for)... A lot of big digital agencies have moved away from the all flash thing recently in favour of some html / js related fun...

  • Celeste says:
    Posted: 02.27.09

    Hot!

  • Craig Hooper says:
    Posted: 02.27.09

Clean, tight, perfectly executed. I can't find much "wrong" w/ it. Always impressed w/ Odopod. Love from Canada...

  • Jo says:
    Posted: 02.27.09

Great job on the site. It is great to see a site that takes the time to relate to all of us, not just the hip young people. Old can be hip too. So thanks and keep up the good work.

  • Seth Cohen says:
    Posted: 02.28.09

Very nice! But what's with the pink?

  • Peter Markatos says:
    Posted: 02.28.09

Well, it is legible and easy to use, but lacks the ingenuity and surprise I see in your work.

  • Lenz says:
    Posted: 03.01.09

The prev one in flash and with the flying bird was definitely better.

  • MPet says:
    Posted: 03.01.09

whoa - certainly a bit dull compared to your work and previous website and language (blog, talk, freshness). i dont find it highly usable NORE visually attractive at all - it lacks style somehow. sorry - reminds me of a quickly thrown together wordpress install and theme adjustment.

  • Freddie Laker says:
    Posted: 03.02.09

Nicely done guys. I'll be adding this to my blogroll as well.

  • Lenz says:
    Posted: 03.02.09

I don't see anything stunning here.

  • Tina Glengary says:
    Posted: 03.02.09

Well done guys! Great UI and simple, understated design. The legibility is an overlooked perk in agency sites. Thanks for thinking about our squinty eyes.

nice layout over a grid! the wording in the nav seems a bit too unique

  • Espen Linna says:
    Posted: 03.06.09

Nice work, but you have a flash-bug in safari (all headers gets green on subpages). Everthing else is top-notch ;) Best regards, Espen www.clockwork.no / | twitter: @espenl

  • Dane says:
    Posted: 03.06.09

Hey Espen, Thanks for the comment - I'm not seeing that. Can you be a bit more specific and email the details to me? Thanks - dane@odopod.com

    Posted: 03.09.09

Nice job! Made my day. Although some 'being here' features lack loadings ('helmet cams' for instance). Congrats from France!

  • andrew says:
    Posted: 03.10.09

I miss the old one-- the vibe was much better IMO - felt more human-- and for me it carved a better mental picture of what you were about, this one feels like an agency, like other ones I have seen -- see: HUGE.

  • cube says:

Great work. Perfect combo: jQuery, sIFR, Wordpress... great site!

  • Jack says:
    Posted: 03.13.09

Nice site sf brethren. JS tip: you guys shouldn't use eval based js compression like dean edward's packer with gziping. Eval compression works really slowly when using http compression like gzip. Can add 200-500 ms lag for code execution. Either switch to minified code and gzip, or just deliver the code uncompressed over http with eval.

  • Jack says:
    Posted: 03.13.09

@espen, @dane, when safari bugs up alpha transparencies it shows up green. its either related to using: 24bitpngs, css overflow, css absolute positioning, or html ontop of flash. I bet he's using safari 2... havent seen those kinda bugs in a while.

  • Dave Nelson says:
    Posted: 03.14.09

    beeeeeeeeeeautiful!

  • Mark Myronchuk says:
    Posted: 03.14.09

Hm... i don't know.... I like previous site more.... this site has not soul... NOw ODOPOD.com its just another piky-candy-groovy -bloggy style site... (I don't say that this site is bad, I just don't like it)

  • Chris Gatewood says:
    Posted: 03.20.09

Love the structure and clarity. Overdosed a bit on magenta - was that Stevenson's idea? ;)

  • Matt Ganly says:
    Posted: 03.20.09

Its okay, just a little boring! looks like all the other blog style agency sites out there... I preferred the previous version, it had more soul and was a better reflection of what odopod are about and the work you create. I totally understand that its more functional but yawn zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz I fell asleep.

  • David R says:
    Posted: 03.23.09
